Follow the Yellow Brick Road to the 6th Annual Walk for Life and Pet Fair... Great fun for the entire family and their pets! Kid's crafts and activities, carriage rides, demonstrations, people and pet-friendly vendors, 4H Bake Sale, Palma Holden Pet Interpreter, low cost vaccinations and nail trims, free coffee, donuts and lunch! Don't forget to vote for your favorite pet in the 2011 Calendar Contest! Entries receiving the most donations will be featured in the 2011 FOA Calendar. Winners announced that day! To enter your pet in the 2011 Calendar Contest mail photos and entry fee to Friends of Animals, Box 580, Junction City, KS 66441; you may also drop off photos and entry fee at RC Kennels, The Pampered Pet, Paws Inn or the Dorothy Bramlage Public Library. Entry fee is $5.00 per photo. This event will be held at the Geary County 4H/Senior Citizen Center, 1025 S. Spring Valley Rd., Junction City, KS. The cost is free, however there is a $10.00 entry fee to participate in the Walk for Life which includes a T-shirt and goody bag.
