11:00 AM - 12:00 PM

1. Water Rockets: Launch two-liter bottles all over the parking lot to create chaos, mayhem, and havoc… and possibly even a little science.
2. Wave in a Bottle: Mix some chemicals together in a bottle, add some coloring, shake it all up and see what happens. It might even act like a lava lamp if we throw in an alka seltzer.
3. Heat Conduction: You’ll get to make all kinds of materials scream for mercy when you press them onto dry ice.
4. Whirlpools: We’ll try to make whirlpools at least two different ways… more if the weather is warm.
5. Mirror Masks: People can become temporarily blind if they spend too much time in a snowy place covered with bright fog. The native people of Alaska figured out a way to prevent this and so will we.
6. Color: Paint vs. Light: Now’s your chance to trick your brain and make the colors of the rainbow go crazy.
7. DNA Extraction: You’ll get to smash perfectly good strawberries and stretch the DNA right out of the gooey mess.
8. Hero’s Fountain: He may not have actually been a hero, but he knew how to make wine shoot up into the air all by itself.
9. Osmosis: If something looks impossible and violates all the laws of physics, then you have osmosis!
10. Stethoscopes: Do you have a heart? What’s it doing in there? Can you make it stop? We’ll try to make our hearts talk to us.
