Who
Oak City Graphics, the parent company of Calabunga, has been building web applications for private clients since 2000. Calabunga is the first publicly launched application from Oak City Graphics.
Owner/Lead Engineer Josh Nathanson founded Oak City Graphics in 1999. In the intervening years Oak City's focus has shifted from web design to web application development.
When
Calabunga was launched in beta in January 2005. Since then the Calabunga community has grown to nearly 2000 users.

Why
A need was evident for an easy-to-use, web-based calendar system. As the internet becomes more stable over time, the market for web-based applications can only grow.
